A long time ago, (When the earth was still young....) in 2002, a young man in high school named Mister Waugh began to write and record a collection of his very first songs. These would be sold on Cd's and Cassettes in local shops and around his school, until he finally had enough material for his debut album Rebellion In Progress. This passion project led to the lead single "Here For a Reason" to get modest radio play, requests at shows, and it receive a fresh remix, which remains one of his favorites of all time.

Twenty years later, he is still making music, still performing, and still being a creative soul. To celebrate such a long and vibrant career, he has released his official Anniversary Collection, a full length album with some of the best (or his favorite) songs dating back two full decades (Including of course... Here for a Reason!)

These songs are from the highs, and the lows of his time, with stories of triumph and loss, joy and sorrow, and reaching a height he never had expected. They are graced with artists and musicians from around the world, each adding a unique flavor to an already interesting mix.

A special thanks to everyone who has taken the time to listen this project, and we hope you all enjoy this celebration.

B.C. artist Mister Waugh has been a solid member of the local music scene since his arrival since 2002. He has worked as both an emcee and a producer, blending together hip hop, jazz and funk. His lyrics are just as wide; ranging from hype to chill tracks, to deep thoughtful looks at the world around him. He has sold nearly 2500 cds independently, and is constantly creating new musicial projects. ... more
